There are four types of users and access levels in RADAR:
Users with owner rights have the highest level of authority within the RADAR environment. Owners can manage all account settings, including billing and payments, invite users to the system, configure user roles and access permissions, as well as create, edit, publish and share RADAR views and reports. By default, this role is assigned to the person who sets up the workspace, but there may be an unlimited number of users with owner permissions in the system.
Admins have the same rights as Owners except for the ability to invite users, manage billing and payments, and access the activity log. Typically, this is the role of a company's PMO who is responsible for collecting individual project status reports and preparing a consolidated project portfolio report for the senior management.
Reporters are users with basic rights who can create projects and update the details of projects in their area of responsibility. Most commonly this user role is assigned to project leads who must regularly report on the status of their projects and other key metrics. Projects and views outside Reporter's area of responsibility can be accessed only if such permission has been provided by Admin or Owner.
Viewers can access publicly or privately shared views and reports through RADAR account or directly in the web browser. The number of view-only licenses is unlimited, and they can be easily provided to other team members, executives, partners, or anyone else inside or outside the company who must be abreast of the current situation.
